Holiday season is among us. It is time we begin thinking about Christmas shopping because it will be here before we realize. I want to share some ideas for gift giving and will separate them into different editions. You may or may not have already picked up on this, but I LOVE beauty products. It's really no surprise. Considering I get to work around them all of the time, I decided to blog about a couple purchases I recently made that are excellent gift ideas for the beauty product fiend in your life. Both of these brands are popular in the beauty world and are a couple of my personal favorites (obviously). I've got Christmas music playing on Spotify, so let's get started, shall we?
Let me just begin by saying that Soap & Glory is one of my favorite brands ever. The packaging is adorable, yes, but the actual product inside of the brilliant packaging is just as brilliant. It smells so nice. I get so excited about this stuff, it's silly. This little case contains three products at the incredible price of only $25. Are you serious? I purchased a similar one a couple years ago and I'm glad that the products are slightly different this year. The Clean On Me shower gel is much larger than the one I received previously. The Righteous body butter and Hand Food cream are a great size. Keep in mind that the regular size shower gel retails for $16, so receiving three different products for $25 is a great deal in my mind. You can see more about this set here.
Next up is this adorable palette from Benefit, which is hands down one of my favorite cosmetic brands of all time. It is the Cheeky Sweet Spot Box O' Blushes and it was the packaging that instantly caught my eye.
This set retails for $36 which is a wonderful value if you are curious about these blushes and don't want to drop $28 on just one full sized shade. The amount of each blush is quite generous in this set and you also get the Hoola bronzer and a small sample of the Watt's Up highlighter. I already own both of these products, but I like that they were included here.
This highlighter is my baby.
Check out those blushes. I've always been curious about Rockateur, but I've been able to wear a few different shades and I love them so far. You can buy this set here. It's so sweet and Christmas appropriate. I also have my eye on their advent calendar, but that will have to remain on my wish list.
- If you are knowledgeable on the beauty world, a great idea is to give your beauty addict a stocking full of your favorite beauty products for them to try. It's personalized and they will be overjoyed to try what you love.
- If you are a little less familiar with makeup, a fool proof gift is something involving lip products because every beauty lover can never have enough of them. Buxom came out with a lipgloss collection that includes their very famous White Russian shade. You can't go wrong with lip products. OR you can always get a gift card to their favorite beauty store. I know that if you buy a $50 gift card from Sephora, it comes with a full beauty makeover and the gift card goes toward the products purchased after the session. Trust me when I say no matter how talented someone may be at doing their makeup, it is ALWAYS nice to have someone else do it for you.
- If you are on a budget and are feeling a bit crafty, you can always whip up a homemade body scrub. I really like Heidi's combinations in the video below. Coffee scrub, yum.
I hope this helps you in your shopping adventures for the beauty lover in your life. Honestly, I always prefer the homemade gifts, but it's because I'm a total cheese ball. See you next time!
P.S. This post isn't sponsored. I just really like Sephora. ;)
